Historic "Bay View" iconic Landmark in Stanley under the "Nut"

The "Bay View" was Built in 1849 from solid stone and baltic timbers the Bay View was the second pub built in Stanley. The property has been running as a successful B&B over the past few years. This is an amazing landmark and now a heritage listed building sitting above the bustling wharf area she was quickly known as the workers pub. in 1900 the timber wing was built and remains as she is today. Amazing views from every window over Sawyers Bay, Tatlow’s Beach, the boat slip’s and the skyward Nut as well as gardens, sitting on ¾ acre of elevated land.
Don’t let her bold exterior scare you, she stands proud amongst the history of Stanley and rightly so! The interior however has been carefully decorated to reflect her history and charm while adding a little chic, currently running 7 various size but spacious rooms/suites (with 8th under construction) to suit all travelling guests requirements and needs.
Currently has 4 private en-suited rooms, all spacious including kitchenettes all well equipped so guests can prepare breakfast or a light meal, Suite bathrooms are open planned and low maintenance.
Decor personally chosen for each room to compliment her history but give guests a relaxing and welcoming “home away from home” feeling.
The former Bar has been converted into a large two story apartment which is hugely popular with larger groups travelling together or families, still has the original open fireplace!
Also two rooms upstairs which share a bathroom, ideal for the budget conscious
Also in the building is a two bedroom owners residence so you can live on site but be separate from guests for privacy.
